This Privacy Policy explains how Bero-Netebo collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit or use the Bero-Netebo website, web application, online educational sessions, community forum, membership services, Plant Library, lesson library, dictionary tools, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).

Bero-Netebo does not intentionally store your full payment-card number.

- Booking date and time;
- Membership information;

Community Information
If you participate in the community forum, we may collect and store:

Community posts and replies are designed to display the user's name or display name rather than their email address.
Support Communications

2. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Service, certain technical information may be processed to operate authentication, maintain your account, provide requested functionality, protect the Service, and troubleshoot technical problems.
Based on the current application configuration, Bero-Netebo does not intentionally use third-party advertising trackers or analytics identifiers.
The current deployed application uses first-party browser localStorage for certain application and authentication information.
The current application configuration does not intentionally use:
- Cookies for authentication or tracking;
- sessionStorage;
- IndexedDB;
- Third-party advertising identifiers;
- Google Analytics or similar analytics tracking;
- Advertising pixels;
- Third-party behavioral tracking.
Technical information may nevertheless be processed by infrastructure and service providers used to operate the Service, such as hosting, authentication, payment, email, video conferencing, or other technical-service providers.
3. How We Use Information
Bero-Netebo may use information to:
- Create and manage user accounts;
- Authenticate users;
- Provide membership access;
- Determine membership eligibility for particular content;
- Provide access to the Plant Library and other educational resources;
- Process memberships and payments;
- Manage session bookings;
- Provide educational sessions;
- Operate the community forum;
- Respond to support requests;
- Send necessary account, booking, membership, or service communications;
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access;
- Maintain and improve the Service;

Bero-Netebo does not sell personal information to advertisers.
4. Plant Library and Traditional Knowledge
The Plant Library contains educational information concerning Amazonian plants and traditional plant knowledge.
Much of this information comes from Indigenous and community knowledge, oral traditions, traditional teachings, word-of-mouth sources, and other cultural sources.
Bero-Netebo may not have scientific or peer-reviewed citations for every traditional claim included in the Plant Library.
Plant Library information is presented in a manner intended to identify the traditional or cultural context of the information where possible.
The Plant Library is an educational and cultural resource. It is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or individualized healthcare recommendations.
Bero-Netebo does not represent that traditional uses, reported properties, or preparations described in the Plant Library have been scientifically validated or medically proven.
5. Online Educational Sessions and Zoom
Bero-Netebo may use Zoom or another third-party video conferencing service to provide live online educational sessions.
If you register for or participate in a session, information necessary to schedule, provide, and administer the session may be shared with the applicable video conferencing provider.
Depending on how a session is configured, the video conferencing provider may process information such as your name, email address, device or connection information, and information you choose to provide while participating in the session.
Your use of Zoom or another third-party video conferencing service may be subject to that provider's own privacy policy, terms, security practices, and data practices.
Bero-Netebo does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party video conferencing providers.
6. Sharing of Information
Bero-Netebo may share information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
These providers may include services used for:
- Website and application hosting;
- Authentication and account management;
- Payment processing;
- Email delivery;
- Video conferencing and online educational sessions;

- Security and fraud prevention;

7. Community Content

Do not post information in the community that you want to keep private.
Bero-Netebo intends community posts and replies to display a username or display name rather than the user's email address.
Bero-Netebo has implemented measures intended to prevent community users from receiving another user's email address through community post or reply records.
8. Payment Information
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.
Bero-Netebo does not intentionally store users' complete payment-card information.
Payment providers may collect and retain payment information according to their own privacy policies, security practices, and legal requirements.
Bero-Netebo may receive information such as transaction status, membership status, subscription information, and other limited information necessary to administer memberships.
9. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your Bero-Netebo account through available account features or by contacting us.
When an account is deleted, Bero-Netebo may remove account information associated with the account, subject to information that may need to be retained for legal, security, administrative, customer-service, fraud-prevention, backup, or other legitimate purposes.
Community posts and replies may not automatically be deleted when an account is deleted.
Payment and transaction information held by third-party payment providers may remain according to their policies and applicable legal requirements.
10. Data Security
Bero-Netebo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should promptly notify Bero-Netebo if they believe their account has been compromised.
11. Data Retention
Bero-Netebo retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, administer accounts and memberships, maintain business and administrative records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed toward individuals under 18.
Bero-Netebo does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts or use member services.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual under 18 in connection with an account, we may take reasonable steps to delete the information, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Bero-Netebo does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party providers.

Bero-Netebo currently provides account-based authentication for access to the application and member services.
Authentication information may be processed by the technical services used to operate Bero-Netebo's account system.
The application uses first-party browser storage for certain authentication and application information as described in this Privacy Policy.
15. Membership and Access Control
Bero-Netebo uses account and membership information to determine which features and educational resources a user is authorized to access.
Different membership levels may provide different access to the Community, Plant Library, lessons, sessions, dictionary tools, and other educational content.
Users must not attempt to bypass authentication, membership restrictions, or other access controls.

Depending on the information and circumstances, you may be able to:
- Access or update account information;
- Cancel your membership;
- Delete your account;
- Request assistance with personal information;
- Contact Bero-Netebo with questions about privacy.
